IT and Media This project will cover all aspects of the modern media hungry age such as; •Internet The project is situated in the portacabin at The Heathlands project, where a lot of our work takes place. We try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate everyone's needs and capabilities and we have a friendly atmosphere surrounding the project. Film With our film groups we have made sort films for competitions such as Oskar Bright, which had to be created, scripted, filmed and acted in by our service users with as little input from staff as possible. We have also made fire safety and informational films for The Glenmore Trust and its members.
Vinyl Cutting This is an area of the project that creates products for our external and internal customers such as; uniforms, one off clothing, promotional items, banners, mugs, sign writing and we also produce the clothing for The Heathlands Projects members. The operating of the programs and equipment for this process can be tricky, so we provide internal training for the people who are interested in this area. Radio Radio Heathlands is part of our project that was requested by our members at The Heathlands Committee Meetings. We practice skills such as Confident Speaking, Sound Recording, Sound Editing, Music Stiles, Reporting and Interviewing. The broadcasts we produce at present are pre recorded and then played in our café and put on the internet for download by our members at their convenience.
