In order to achieve this objective the Trust has the following Strategic Goals:

• To maintain and develop operational and financial systems which enable the organisation to function effectively in the competitive market.
• To recruit, train and effectively employ, those who respect and value the people who use our services and who are competent
to promote their well-being and self-determination.
• To Promote and Participate inagency/partnership
activity which benefits the organisation, its employees and people who use the service.
• To implement a Person Centred Planning approach across all services and providing training where required to managers and teams in order to achieve this.

A Word from our Chief Executive

Welcome to the Trust website. I hope it will give you the information you are looking for and an insight into the services we provide. I also hope that we will show you that our work is led by our clients.

As an organisation with charitable status, we have independence to develop and change services, to meet the needs of our clients. This is not to imply we work alone, and we have an excellent working relationship with our colleagues in health and social services.

We believe in actively encouraging our clients to be as independent as possible. Our aim is to enable those we support to not only live in the community but also to be part of it. Each support package we provide is person centred and tailored to individual need, wants and aspiration.

It is not enough to merely provide a service. We encourage our clients to take an active part in the Trust. We have 2 service user groups, the Glenmore Action Group and Heathlands Committee and their representatives sit as full members of the Management Committee.

We are proud of the service we provide and continually look to improve, but we also rely on customer feedback, whether from clients, their families or our colleagues. Our Care Quality Commission (CQC) reports are consistently good and we have held the Investors in People award for many years.
If you would like clarification or more information, my personal e-mail is below, or you can ring me at the main office. I look forward to hearing from you
